Solar energy is healthy for our environment. It creates clean and pure, renewable power from the sun. This is an alternative to greenhouse gases from fossil fuels around the world. There are many natural greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide, nitrous oxide, methane, water vapor and ozone. But we, humans, are adding extra greenhouse gases that are not needed and not natural, which means it is unhealthy for the environment. Different types of fossil fuels which are unhealthy for the environment include oil, coal, and natural gases. The largest source from greenhouse gases are from human activities by burning coal and other fossil fuels for heat, electricity, and transportation.

“If you fill the atmosphere with toxins, then you really cannot be surprised if the solar radiation transmission through it becomes toxic to humans.” - Steven Magee, Light Forensics

Solar energy is a renewable source of energy. It is so much healthier and more natural for the environment than human-created greenhouse gases. With the Solar Squad new prototypes, we can help save the environment from killing animals and plants. Some of our prototypes include the parabolic mirror, the "Sunbrella", our "Glow-Screen", and the "S. S. H. H." (Solar Squad Helpful Heater). They are all much healthier and more beneficial to the environment than fossil fuels which release greenhouse gases.

The use of solar energy offers huge potential for natural resource and climate protection, and for the expansion of renewable energies on the road to a future-oriented energy supply. - Margareta Wolf

Using solar energy instead of other fossil fuels will encourage people to use more renewable energy sources such as wind, geothermal, and biomass, also. Using the fossil fuels we use today is ruining our one and only planet.
